Lisa Fogarty Eng101 Q Compare Contrast Final Draft Getting a college education is important to some people. Some others may not deem it as important. However, we could all learn from looking at all the possible options that one may have when looking to better themselves educationally, or from life experiences. Getting a college education can prepare a person for the professional work place with knowledge, and experience in the field they choose to enter. It can teach them the important things they will need to learn to be successful. Not going to college is sometimes a better choice for those who do not see the importance of furthering their education. Either way, it is possible to find a good job. The key is†¦show more content†¦I interviewed a few people to find out just what exactly they thought of going to college, as per not going to college. Here are some of my findings. In one interview I had with a man who has name is â€Å"Joe† Who is a 32-year-old Health Care worker, as well as a currently enrolled college student. First question I asked was, â€Å"What would you say is the best decision you made regarding your future?† In addition, to that Joe replied â€Å"To go back to school for nursing† And to follow up that I asked â€Å"How do you provide for the lifestyle that you have?† In addition, he replied, â€Å"I work two jobs, just to support myself until I get out of college and get a real job† I also asked â€Å"If you could go back to school would you?† In addition, he said, â€Å"yes I would definitely, that’s why I decided to go back† So far, the theme seems to be that college is a good choice if you would like to further your education and better your chances for a long lasting profession. I would have to say that I agree. I then asked Joe if he struggled to make ends meet regarding the expenses for his every day life. He replied yes. That it was difficult to be able to provide for the things he wants, and nee ds simply because his education up to this point does not get him far enough.
